Romantic spots for wedding shots – the best places in our grounds for stunning wedding photos

Wedding photos are a lifelong reminder of one of the most special days of your life, so we know couples getting married with us want to ensure they are as romantic and beautiful as possible. At Tylney Hall, we have a secret weapon for ensuring wedding photos are a cut above the rest – our gardens.

With 66 acres to explore, all painstakingly maintained and cared for by our estate manager Paul Tattersdill (who has worked at Tylney Hall for as long as it has been a hotel) brides and grooms really are spoilt for choice.

To help any prospective couples looking for wow-factor destinations for their wedding photos, we spoke to our senior events coordinator, Garry Sampson, to find out his top three spots for wedding photography at Tylney Hall:

  1. Boathouse Lake Bridge – This stunning spot makes for a truly wow-factor photo with Tylney Hall sitting in the background. It also boasts one of the most iconic views in our grounds and really sets the tone for a romantic and beautiful wedding day at the hotel.
  2. Vista – Did you know our 14-mile vista is one of the longest uninterrupted views in Hampshire? Framed by two adjacent rows of stunning redwood trees, the vista makes for a truly dramatic backdrop.  Couples who are lucky enough to marry on a clear day can pose in front of the incredible view reaching across the Hampshire countryside.
  3. Water Gardens – our stunning Water Gardens were reopened last year following extensive refurbishment and they are a definite must-see for wedding photography. Full of colour and floral displays right through from early spring to autumn, the Water Gardens provide a tranquil and magical photo spot.
