Staying Overnight

Any guests staying overnight have access to our Swimming Pools, Whirlpool, Gym and Tennis Courts on a complimentary basis. 

Guaranteed check in is available from 3pm. You are welcome to arrive earlier and enjoy our facilities before accessing your room. 

Check out is 11am. 

All of our bedrooms feature an en-suite bathroom with towelling robes, slippers, and Molton Brown toiletries. There is also a Nespresso machine and tea making facilities, freeview television, direct dial telephone, radio alarm clock, and hairdryer available in every room. Fridges are available on request (subject to availability). 

Monday to Friday: 7am – 10am
Saturday & Sunday: 7am – 10.30am

We can accommodate families in our Superior Classic Rooms and above. We have a range of cots, sofa beds and extra beds available to ensure everyone in comfortable during your stay.

Please check the terms of your booking, as our cancellation policy varies dependent on your reservation type. Our reservations team can also help with amendments to your booking. Contact 01256 764881

We do have a number of dog friendly bedrooms available, and our 66-acre estate makes the perfect escape with your pooch. These are available with a small fee added of £25.00 per dog. 

We do have car parking spaces onsite, all available on a complimentary basis for visitors of the hotel. If you require blue badge parking, please contact our concierge team on concierge@tylneyhall.co.uk

Our Orangery Suites have air conditioning. Due to the nature of our other buildings, our Mansion House and Garden Suites does not have this installed but fans will be provided, where needed.

No problem. Our front desk team have dental, shaving and sewing kits all available at £3.50 each.

We do have twin bedrooms available, please mention this to our reservations team upon booking. 

Health Club

Our Health & Leisure Club boasts an indoor and outdoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool, gym, two tennis courts, 5 beauty rooms, nail salon and bikes to hire.

You are welcome to relax in our lounge, bar and terrace areas, and enjoy food and drink prior to receiving access to your room. Our Health Club facilities may be available prior to check in, please check with reception when you arrive. 

Gym: 7am – 9pm on weekdays, and until 8pm on weekends.
Indoor Pool: 7.30am – 8.30pm on weekdays, and until 8pm on weekends.
Outdoor Pool: 8am until 8pm, or until dusk (seasonal for summer, weather permitting)

Our outdoor swimming pool is adults only from 8am – 10am.

Please bring appropriate attire for your chosen activity. We offer bathrobes & flipflops on request, towels for your swim and shower, or gym towels for other physical activity. You can also hire tennis equipment from the concierge desk.

A limited food and drink menu is available around the outdoor pool area. Beside this, only water can be consumed in our leisure facilities. 

Dining

Lunch (Thursday to Saturday): 12noon – 2pm 
Lunch (Sunday): 12.30pm – 2.30pm
Dinner (Sunday to Thursday): 6.30pm – 9pm
Dinner (Friday & Saturday): 6pm – 9pm

While we do not operate a dress code, most of our guests choose smart casual or formalwear.

Of course.  Whether you are staying overnight or visiting us for the day, we’d be delighted to treat you to one of our renowned afternoon teas. Served daily 1pm-4:30pm.  

Our kitchen can cater for most dietary requirements, but please let our reservations team know in advance. 

No, anybody is welcome to dine in the Oak Room Restaurant, and our lounge & bar for lunch or Afternoon Tea. Please note that non-residential availability on Fridays and Saturdays is limited. 

We strongly recommend booking your table in advance to avoid disappointment. 

Yes, we offer room service. A menu is available to view in your room but if you would like to see a sample in advance, please contact our reservations team.

If looking for something a little more special than our standard a la carte menu, why not try our five-course tasting menu? We also host regular dining and entertainment events.

Our Dinner, Bed and Breakfast package includes a £50.00 per adult allowance to use on food in our restaurant. Breakfast is also included for the next morning, in all of our stays.

Activities

Croquet and Tennis do not require pre booking, equipment can be borrowed from our team.

Yes, our Concierge team can recommend walking routes nearby, and we also have a map of the  grounds to explore.

If you do not have a car of your own, our concierge team can help arrange taxis to your chosen days out. We are also close by to Hook rail station and local bus routes. 

Our Swimming Pool is available for children to enjoy as well as the Tennis Courts, Croquet Lawn, Garden Games and Trail around the Grounds.

Getting Here

Hook train station is just 1.7 miles from us. Otherwise, Basingstoke services more lines and is only 6.5 miles from Tylney Hall.

Yes, we can help arrange taxis on your behalf. Please contact our Concierge team to do this in advance. 

Heathrow Airport is just 32.2 miles from us (approx. 45 minute drive)

Any lost property is safely stored with our housekeeping team for up to three months. Please contact Reception.

We are a non-smoking hotel. There are designated areas where smoking and vaping is permitted, with appropriate places to discard your cigarettes. Please respect those around you.
