We are extremely pleased to announce that our Assistant Manager, Food and Beverage, Ewen Thomas, has been accepted onto the prestigious Master Innholders Aspiring Leaders Diploma 2015.
The Master Innholders Aspiring Leaders Diploma is a development programme that aims to improve its members’ managing skills in order to develop their leadership talent and build their career prospects within the hospitality industry. The topics covered within the course include business management, consumer management and professional development.
Ewen, who originates from South Africa and has been with us for 18 months, hopes to improve his leadership skills, financial awareness and marketing knowledge during the course, which in turn will enable him to progress his career in hotel management.
Commenting on his achievement, Ewen told us:
“I am extremely grateful to have been accepted onto this programme, as it is a step towards my dream career. One day I hope to be Managing Director of a group of small, unique hotels like Elite, however, for now I am happy to work towards managing a smaller team at Tylney Hall.”
