Pre-event planning
The venue hosting Lok'n Store’s event had to meet a number of different criteria including a good location. As their stores are situated around the whole of the South East of England, the venue had to be accessible for all staff members to reach. Tylney Hall’s Hampshire location provided a perfect central location for all Lok’n Store’s employees.
Another venue requirement was the style as Lok’n Store wanted a venue that provided a grand and impressive first impression followed by traditional but up-to-date decoration and superb grounds. The first impression Tylney Hall offers guests as they drive up the sweeping driveway is like no other and the main house provides a slice of quintessential English luxury, ensuring that the style box was firmly ticked.
The venue also needed to provide a wide range of leisure facilities for delegates to take part in before the main event took place. The extensive range of leisure facilities available at Tylney Hall ensures that a variety of activities can be undertaken. The Health Suite provides a menu full of rejuvenating treatments for those who wish to relax, while archery, tennis, clay pigeon shooting and mountain biking are available for those seeking activities and adventure.
Lastly, Lok’n Store required a separate space in which they could unwind, socialise and enjoy the celebration without disturbing other guests. With over 13 meeting, conference and event rooms, Tylney Hall Hotel could easily accommodate this.
Pre-event planning
Lok’n Store’s event was primarily an award ceremony rewarding long service, however, after the presentation and speeches they wanted to host a party so staff could really let their hair down. With this in mind Lok’n Store required a band, a photographer, a DJ, PA Hire and table decoration - all things that Tylney Hall could easily support and assist with if needed.

Post Event Analysis
