Our foodie Mother's Day

It's official, both our Mothering Sunday events are no FULLY BOOKED and our mouths are watering already thinking about our two luxurious foodie events for the whole family to enjoy. Firstly, we will be offering mums an indulgent afternoon tea served in our Tylney Suite. The special afternoon tea menu includes a selection of delights from smoked salmon with black pepper and lemon sandwiches, fresh fruit tartlets and freshly baked scones served with Cornish clotted cream and preserves.  

 

Sit back and enjoy the perfect musical accompaniment, a soothing harpist, performing throughout the afternoon. Each mum will also be treated to a glass a champagne and a little surprise, on behalf of the team at Tylney Hall. We are also looking forward to hosting a delicious three course Sunday luncheon in our award winning Oak Room Restaurant, where mums will also be treated to a special gift.  The sumptuous menu designed by our Executive Head Chef Stephen Hine, features a refreshing tomato and glazed goats’ cheese salad with walnut and beetroot, a succulent leg of lamb with glazed baby vegetables and mint jus and, to finish, a tantalizing glazed lemon tart with raspberry sorbet. To top off this lovely luncheon, our resident pianist will be performing throughout.   

 

Here at Tylney Hall Hotel we love treating our mums, which is why we are hosting two fantastic foodie events that have something to suit every mother’s taste. And, if the sun is shining you and your family can enjoy a walk around our gardens and enjoy the spring flowers coming into bloom.
